On Line Sales

The Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice shop is now able to offer an on line sales facility.

This works through the RomanCart shopping trolley system but for the time being payment can only be accepted against cheques payable to Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice and in sterling whilst the sales pattern gets established.

You will receive an automatic Order Acknowledgement via the e-mail address you quote when placing your order.

At present, we are not yet able to handle transactions outside the sterling area, but we are looking into making provision for accepting payments in other currencies. We will continue to look sympathetically at off-line orders from outside the sterling area on a cash with order basis.

The merchandise we are offering is listed in the catalogue below, but please note that certain items have to be ordered directly from the suppliers. In those instances, supplier details are shown alongside the catalogue item, but there is no "Add to shopping trolley" button. Some of those suppliers may have their own on line sales provisions.

Thank you for shopping with Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice.

Below is a list of books and booklets by Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice and other suppliers. The prices quoted for the items below are for the UK only. For prices outside the UK, please contact us. If you want any further information on the merchandise available, or have any queries, please telephone Daphne McLeod on 01372 454 160 or e-mail here. For a wide range of free downloadable talks about the Faith, please click on the "Talks - free downloads" button shown above left.

"Our Lady of Quito" as she is known in the English speaking world is known in Ecuador as "La Dolorosa," which means "The Sorrowful Lady." She was officially crowned by order of Pope Pius XII in 1956, the fiftieth anniversary of the miracle of her picture opening and closing its eyes in front of forty children who attended a Jesuit boarding school which was then being targeted for persecution by the Masons who were throttling this Catholic country. Soon after, the miracle was also witnessed by numerous adults, including atheists who thereupon converted, when the picture was transferred to a nearby church. £4.00 plus

Gabriel Garcia Moreno (1821-1875) was a model Catholic president of Ecuador. He courageously founded a Republic upon Catholic principles and publicly consecrated it to the Sacred Heart, and for this he was martyred by paid assassins. This biography by Fr. Berthe is the most complete and authoritative one in existence. It has been out of print in English since 1889 when it was first published. £10.99 plus p&p. This is the paperback price.

"DOUAY-RHEIMS & Clementina Vulgata" [side-by-side]
£59.95

Those familiar with the Douay-Rheims Bible will know that it is one of the most beautiful and accurate Bible translations available today – a word for word translation of the Clementine Vulgate.

Now, we have combined the traditional English Catholic translation with the Clementine Vulgate. The two venerable texts are presented side by side enabling the reader to see exactly where the vernacular translation came from. Even those with limited Latin skills will be able to follow along, using the Douay-Rheims translation as an aid. You'll see how the Douay-Rheims is a literal translation of the classic Vulgate.
